Creative Project — OpenSesame Engineering Internship

1) How do you see OpenSesame fitting into your career journey or long-term goals?

I’m transitioning from systems administration into software engineering with a focus on building reliable, scalable SaaS products, and OpenSesame fits my long-term goals because it combines modern engineering practices, DevOps collaboration, and AI-forward product work that helps people build real skills.

2) What strengths, skills, or perspectives will you bring to OpenSesame to make an impact?

I bring a reliability mindset from infrastructure work, hands-on experience shipping and maintaining projects, and comfort working across development and DevOps tasks. I’m used to debugging, documenting, and improving workflows (tests, CI/CD, automation), and I enjoy learning through collaboration and feedback.

3) What excites you most about working with AI, and how do you think it can shape the future of learning and work?

I’m excited about AI as a practical tool that can personalize learning, reduce repetitive work, and help people gain skills faster. In learning platforms, AI can recommend the next best step, adapt content for different languages and roles, and support instructors and teams with faster feedback—while humans stay responsible for quality and safety.
